VRM file type is the most widely used 'universal format for 3D avatars' in the virtual metaverse.

This is convenient 3D character file that allow you to import animation-style custom characters directly into the software without complex settings
or conversion processes, enabling you to dress and fit garments while maintaining the character's unique appearance and movements.

📝 Note: The VRM file format is based on glTF 2.0, and the properties that can be controlled in the Import/Export VRM dialog box are identical to those of glTF 2.0.

Import VRM 

1. Click Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Import ▶ VRM, specify the file path and name to display the Import VRM dialog.
    

2. Set the desired properties in the Import VRM dialog box, then click OK to load the file.

Export VRM

1. Click Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Export ▶ VRM, specify the destination path and file name to display the Export VRM dialog.
    

2. Set the properties in the Export VRM dialog box, then click OK to export the file.
    

📝 Note: A VRM file can only be exported if it meets the following two conditions:

• The top-level parent of the export target's joint root must form a single hierarchy.
• It must have a humanoid skeleton structure.
