Objective
Create an avatar with your own measurements.
As CLO Avatar Editor is powered by thousands of real body scan data, even measurements not assigned by users automatically adjust to the most realistic body shape.

Option Description Avatar Size Easily select the size of the avatar in the Avatar Size Editor. Total Body Shape the overall body type with Avatar's height and chest width.
In order to get realistic shapes for body parts without assignable measurements, use the Total Body option to create an overall shape and then insert measurements under the Details option.
Height Assign Avatar's height.
Because each person has a different head size, it is most accurate to create a full body shape based on HPS Height or Inseam. Total Height is the least accurate and is not recommended.Total
HeightInsert the height measured from the ground to the head.
HPS
HeightInsert the height measured from the ground to the neck. Inseam Insert the height measured from the ground to the crotch. Proportion
(ver 7.2 )
Adjust the ratio of the avatar's upper and lower body. Inseam Once the height between the floor and the legs is entered, the upper body automatically adjusts proportionally. CF Neck to Waist Once the height from the Front Neck Point to the waist is entered, the lower body automatically adjusts proportionally. Width Shape the overall body type based on Bust/ Under Bust Circumference, Weight. Weight
(ver 7.1)Enter the weight to set its overall body width.
After entering the weight, select the desired total body shape and it will be changed to the corresponding body shape.Details Configure Avatar's detailed measurements.
A small error may be generated when entering measurements, and the error appears right next to each measurement.
The actual applied measurements are displayed in the Avatar Measurement , so edit them more accurately by referring to them.Basic Adjust the value of the basic body measurements.
Body measurements that cannot be adjusted are automatically changed to realistic body shapes based on actual data according to the adjusted measurements.Advanced Adjust the value of detailed body measurements. Advanced has more adjustable body measurments, but this may be more unnatural than the Basic option, as other measurements are not automatically adjusted and are fixed to the entered values. Simple
(ver 7.1)When changing the width based on weight, simply adjust the size of the minimized body measurements. Show All Measurements Click the button at the top right of Details to check the all measurements. Open/ Save Open or save the avatar size measurements. Reset Reset the avatar's size to the default state.
Comments
Would it be possible to add the option to alter the underbust measurment? The is a line on the avatar but I can't seem to alter it. When using CLO3D for lingerie this is an important factor. It would be very useful to alter the overbust measurement and underbust measurements independently.
I'm not understanding how to put in the circumference for the bust measurement under the "Basic" option. The total body measurement has 4.921 as the default setting. The "Bust Circumference" option doesn't allow me update the default. How can I do this?
I like having the capability of drafting the avatar according to the body shapes I am looking for. The two areas that I find missing are: 1) The underbust and the full bust measurement does not yield the differentiation needed to resemble the bust size 2) the Advanced measurements asks for the Full Rise measurement but it does not differentiate how much to apply to the front and to the back thus not fully representing the desired avatar shape. I believe all it is needed is to add the additional measurements to the bust and rise for the front and back. These additional measurements would allow the drafting of the bust line and the rise much better than the current tools.
Is there a list of descriptions for each of the measurements as the ones you give here for the height options? For example, if I look at Crotch Depth measurement that is not visualised on the avatar, how do I know where from and where to it has been measured? Same question applies to other measurements that do not display on the avatar.
