[Size Editor] Adjust Avatar Size (ver5.0.0 and Above)
FollowObjective
Create an avatar with your own measurements.
As CLO Avatar Editor is powered by thousands of real body scan data, even measurements not assigned by users automatically adjust to the most realistic body shape.
Location
Main Menu ▶Avatar ▶ Avatar Editor ▶ Avatar Size
Operation
- Load an Avatar (.avt).
Only the avatars provided in ver 5.0 and above can be adjusted. - Follow the indicated path below:
Main Menu ▶Avatar ▶ Avatar Editor ▶ Avatar Size
→ Measures appear on the Avatar. The editable measures appear in black, whereas the non-editable measures appear in grey. - Refer to below graph and adjust the Avatar as needed.
Option Description Select Avatar Select the Avatar to be edited. This option only appears when two or more Avatars are in the 3D window. Total Body Shape the overall body type with Avatar's height and chest width.
In order to get realistic shapes for body parts without assignable measurements, use the Total Body option to create an overall shape and then insert measurements under the Details option.
Height Assign Avatar's height.
※Note:
* Use the drop-down menu on the right to select the unit of the Height. The default unit follows the program's unit.
* Degree of Accuracy based on Height Measure Standard:
HPS Height > Inseam > Total HeightTotal Height Insert the height measured from the ground to the head.
※Note: It is more accurate to assign height with either HPS Height or Inseam option as individual has different head length.
The Total Height option is not recommended as it has the lowest accuracy.
HPS Height Insert the height measured from the ground to the neck. Inseam Insert the height measured from the ground to the crotch. Width Assign Avatar's width and shape its overall body shape. Select and insert desired value as the standard of the overall body width (ver 5.1). Details Configure Avatar's detailed measurements.
Due to a technical reason, a small error may be generated even after inserting a specific measure. The error appears in parentheses next to each measurement and the real measurement can be checked with the measure appears on the Avatar. Edit the Avatar based on the measure appears on the Avatar as the numbers appear in the Avatar Editor only shows the measurements assigned by users.
※Note:
* Use the drop-down menu on the right to select the unit of the Height. The default unit follows the program's unit.
* Each measurements can be checked with the measure appears on the Avatar.Basic Use the Basic option when only a small amount of body measurements are available.
Unassigned body parts are automatically adjusted based on the real body scan data and the measurements inserted by the user.
Advanced Use the Advanced option when available body measurements are abundant.
When all measurements under the Advanced options are not available, please use the Basic option to create more realistic body as unassigned measurements are fixed with the default values pre-assigned to each option.

Would it be possible to add the option to alter the underbust measurment? The is a line on the avatar but I can't seem to alter it. When using CLO3D for lingerie this is an important factor. It would be very useful to alter the overbust measurement and underbust measurements independently.
I'm not understanding how to put in the circumference for the bust measurement under the "Basic" option. The total body measurement has 4.921 as the default setting. The "Bust Circumference" option doesn't allow me update the default. How can I do this?
I like having the capability of drafting the avatar according to the body shapes I am looking for. The two areas that I find missing are: 1) The underbust and the full bust measurement does not yield the differentiation needed to resemble the bust size 2) the Advanced measurements asks for the Full Rise measurement but it does not differentiate how much to apply to the front and to the back thus not fully representing the desired avatar shape. I believe all it is needed is to add the additional measurements to the bust and rise for the front and back. These additional measurements would allow the drafting of the bust line and the rise much better than the current tools.
Is there a list of descriptions for each of the measurements as the ones you give here for the height options? For example, if I look at Crotch Depth measurement that is not visualised on the avatar, how do I know where from and where to it has been measured? Same question applies to other measurements that do not display on the avatar.
