Physical Camera
| Option | Description | |
| Exposure |
Configure the amount of light penetrating into the camera to change the brightness. To do so effectively, use the Exposure option instead of adjusting the brightness of the V-Ray Lights. |
|
| ISO |
Adjust the sensitivity of the film. A small value results in a darker image; a high value in a brighter one. |
|
| F-Number |
Adjust the openness of the aperture. A high value results in a darker image; a small value in a brighter one. |
|
| Shutter Speed (1/s) |
Adjust the shutter speed with the unit of 1/s. When the shutter speed is 1/30s, the shutter is open for one-thirtieth of a second. To replicate the same effect, you should type in 30. The amount of the penetrating light decreases with an increased number of shutter blinks. Therefore, a high value results in a darker image; a small value in a brighter one. |
|
| Depth of Field |
Configure the depth of field by adjusting the camera's focus. |
|
| Viewpoint Focus |
Each Custom View can be rendered with an individually set Depth of Field. 1. Enter the desired Focus Distance value in the Custom Views fields. 2. Or, adjust the Focus Distance directly during Interactive Render to automatically apply the value by adding a new view or overwriting an existing view in the Custom View window. |
|
| Focus Distance |
Set the camera's focus point as needed. Use the F-Number option to adjust the focus length (clear area), starting from the focus point. A larger F-Number results in a larger clear area is; a smaller number in a narrower one. As adjusting the focus length with the Focus Distance is not intuitive, using the Focus by Left Click option is recommended. |
|
| Focus by Left Click | Click to set the focus point. When the focus point is selected, the Focus Distance is calculated automatically. | |
| Effects | Stretch the image either vertically or horizontally. | |
