image format

Hi all. Just a quick question. If the image background is not transparent, what format you guys normally choose for ur image format? jpg or png?

I'm not familiar with the format so I choose png. but i would like to hear what other people use. Thanks :)

  Hi bonniechanpy Either option will work fine. Be mindful of PNGs as allover textures; if there happens to be a semi or fully transparent row of pixels along one or more of the edges it may cause a transparent effect on the fabric. Actual size artwork at 72 ppi is adequate for file size.

  And usually how many ppi (resolution) you guys usually use? thanks :)

  Note: You can generally save png out as RGB instead or RGBA in most image editing software which avoids the transparency channel inclusion if you don't use that channel in your image.
