what reason may my background transparency function be inactive?

Hello,

 I want to render an image with a transparent background. So I check on the Transparent in Background group . and I set the image to PNG format. But the background is white color, not transparent, can anyone tell me where the problem is? Thank you.

  Look at your final render not the view port. When you render it will likely create a RGB(A) image instead of an RGB image which means an alpha (A) transparency channel has been placed into the exported image and the image silhouette has been cropped such that the background around the avatar and garment is now transparent. This may not be apparent from the scene preview 3D view-port, and only will be seen on the outputted 2D datafile image. So check that RGBA image and you should be able to switch the alpha channel to transparent and place in what ever background you want.

   

  For WIP snapshots > If you want the 3D scene view (work-in-progress > WIP) mode to have a transparent background for workflow shots then you can take a snapshot using the shortcut commands  (F10) MD/CLO3D > and elect to save with a transparent RGBA alpha channel.

  Thanks for the fast reply.

  I know rendered image sometime may not be apparent from the scene preview 3D view-port, so I open rendered image in photoshop, I found the background is not  transparent.

  With exactly the same settings, sometimes the background of the rendered image is transparent, but sometimes the background of the rendered image is not transparent. 

  Please inspect the 2 pictures below,
  The background of the first image is transparent, and the background of the second picture is not transparent.

  Hello,

  Please untick Show for Dome Light. If Show is on for this light source, it adds white colour to the background.

  I adjusted the lighting settings according to your instructions and got a transparent background.
