How can I create a welded/waterproof seam like this?
In real life, the fabrics are RF welded, which is similar to heat sealing. I'm still getting the hang of Clo, so I'm not sure which features would be best to use here.

I would try to make the upper piece thicker (add'l render thickness) than the bottom piece and make the edge of the upper piece less round with Curved Side Geometry>Curvature less than 100%.
Also, make the 3D seamline>Intensity 0.

pablo.quintana nice, thanks! Didn't know about curvature. How do you get the seam to look wide and flat, but then puff out a bit like this?

I would cut and sew, turn the 3D seamline intensity to 0, then make the fold angle closer to 360. so the piece on the left arcs.

Hmm, I've got the arc, but not the flattened seam. Any idea what I'm missing? pablo.quintana
