Why would the end of this self fold belt be flipping up at the point?

Does anyone have any ideas why my self fabric belt would be folding itself upwards at the tip? How do I fix this? If I simulate and pull it down with the grabby hand, it lays correctly for about a second before it begins folding itself upward again. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  I hope you are well. 

  There could be a number of reasons this is happening. 

  1. There could be a pin on that point that you can not see. Check your pins in the 3D toggle bar. If there is one there, you can delete it by Right-Clicking on the button and pressing delete.

  

  2. Lower the Particle Distance, this will allow the garment to drape more naturally. 

  

   

  3. Check there is no fold angle assigned to the internal line. Using Edit Pattern (Z) you can select internal lines and pattern outlines, make sure the fold angle is 180.

  Thanks for the fast reply! There were no pins or internal folds; it was the particle distance. I had to make it 5.0 to get that cleaned up but it looks great now.
