Sides of vest won't sew in 3D window

I'm not sure if this is a bug or something I did incorrectly, but I can't get the sides of this vest to sew when simulated. I restarted CLO, restarted my computer, and reset the 3D arrangement.

  Hi camryn.fitzhugh,

  There are suspicious colorful outlines to the pattern pieces: Are any of them set to solidify, freeze, etc.? This might be invisible with the views turned off here when right-clicking onto the grey background of the 3D window:
