Fabric does not change in 3D window

I've tried everything from the guidelines posted, but the fabric doesn't change in the 3d window at all.

I changed the view into the textured surface view, I did the simulation over and over again, I reset the fabric material and even restarted the whole program. There's an orange color that's  stuck for some reason and doesn't want to change. I'm not sure what else to do. 

Anyone experiencing same or similar issues? Any tips on how to resolve this? Thanks

  Hi There. Can you please share a screenshot that clearly shows both the 2D and 3D screens as well as the Fabrics Property Editor. We can then take a look to see what may be happening

  Hi there, it looks like I've turned on the strengthen feature and this is why the color wasn't updating. Now I fixed that, however I lost acces to the entire modular library and can't do grading.

  This is what appears when I log in. I looked into it and it seems like many are facing this issue. I'm not sure why this happened.
