IMPORTED CORD LOCK WITH ELASTICS
Hi!
So, I've watched every possible video about similar hardware and checked all the posts but couldn't find any help.
I am trying to simulate a round elastic through a barrel cord lock, even sewn the pieces of ribbon that could make as elastic and tried to put them through the OBJ holes (it's a model imported from Rhino as Avatar) with the Mex selection but when I start the simulation the ribbon goes crazy and out of the object. Does anyone know how can I do it?

Looking at your chord you appear to have the thin patterns mesh density set too high as a distance, you need to lower that to at least 2-3mm and then you need to check the patterns additional offset collision distance so that when it simulates with the toggle and garment that these collision offsets are not coming into (invisible offset surfaces) with your chord. The best approach might be to model simulate the chord off to one side with a pin either end of the chord then when you are closer with the drape of the chord freeze the chord elements and move them into position on the garment.
