Program working slow in 2D, intricate pattern

So basically I imported a pattern from AI with loads of small details which are supposed to be laser cut. And when I am trying to cut the pattern in CLO in 2D, the program is working very slow, it takes me like half an hour to change a small detail. I have a relatively good computer, haven't had problems with it before even when I worked on other complicated patterns. I attached a screenshot of the pattern. Does anyone know how I can improve the performance? Really need this to work

  Hi! Thank you so much for your question. Have you tried to convert the internal shapes/lines that do not need to be cut to base lines? Also, have you tried to cut out the internal shapes in Ai before importing into Clo? Please let us know if this works for you
