Bicycle as Avitar
I am new to clo3d and am trying to use it for backpacks and bicycle bags. I am wondering if I had a 3d model of a bicycle would I be able to load it as the avatar so I can properly mount bags on them?

I suggest you do the bagbackp and bicycle bags in clo3d and then export the clo3d project, uvmap materials etc.. and then re imported in maya, 3dsmax then adjust all backpack and bicycle bags into that software and then render in arnold for maya..

You can import a prop or as avatar in the scene with vray based shader compatible materials but that should be set in your external software with the maps for the bike based on the limited CLO3D 3D shader option. You can adjust these from the scene tree on the model (just like you can with a character avatar) and use the CLO3D internal vray render engine. There is no need to go out to external 3D modeling (bike + Bag) and render applications unless you want further scene compositing power that more complex CG image software might add into the mix. You could do this quite easily within CLO3D using a vray scene render with a bike model that has materials and UV image maps.(you can even swap these out > eg like base color from the property manager for that object model)
See this post showing that capability per scene model item >> Link
This is how the stage backdrops and all their material maps are rendered with CLO3D vray for example > however if you want cloth collision or cloth tacking to a modeled object you need to import that as an avatar > as that is a special state where the model has a collision parameter added to it's surface to interact with the cloth project(s) you create, whereas an imported prop object or scene stage doesn't have that capability and the cloth will not collide with the garment model.
So is it possible in CLO3D to add a bike model with texture UV maps and render with the CLO3D vray render engine - yes. Is it best for artistic control for compositing a marketing image when compared to dedicated professional CG pipelines that allow you to tweak all your render image layers, most probably not, but CLO3D internal vray can get you most of the way there to a good image. So the quality control will be the aspect you need to consider along with any batch or automation you might need, where CLO3D might be limited relative to CG production render pipelines.
