CLO needs a customizable user environment color scheme...
... or at least and alternative to black only.
Black doesn't provide enough definition of the interface different spaces. Personally, I find it very hard to work on the totally black environment. Add to this the microscopic size of the tooltips and it becomes really frustrating just to sit and work. And what makes it even more frustrating, is that this is obviously an easy thing to fix, just provide a basic environment where you can feel comfortable working without having to squint you eyes.
After all, If you want to get people to use your software, you should at least try to make them feel comfortable while using it. Any halfway decent graphic software provides options to make sure that you can work on a comfortable environment according to your preferences. If just basic usage of your software is a chore and a distraction from your work, how can you expect to achieve a productive workflow?
I doubt I could ever get used to work in the pitch black environment, I don't do it on any of my other graphic software, they just provide customization. And sure, at some point I may not need to even look at the tooltips but why make it harder for people that are just trying to learn. And why ruin an otherwise awesome software by skimping with such a basic usability decision.
Personally, I am really surprised at this, to the point that I am still thinking that it may be me who can't find the appropriate setting. And this after reading somebody else asking the same question... Hopefully, I am wrong and there is a setting for this... just let me know please!
