Do imported Normal maps need to be in square format?
Dear All
I am trying to simulate fabric textures for shirts. Texture input is one single repeat, based on the pattern design software. I now correspondingly created the normal map in photoshop (based on one single repeat, with exactly the same size and resolution). But when simulating on the shirt, the pattern and the normal map are somehow "shifted" (see the line in the picture). Am I doing something wrong/ what could I do best to fix this? Thanks already!!

Caroline, check the transformation settings on the texture map and the normal map and make sure they are the same.
