patterns wrapping too tightly around arrangement points

Hi there, I'm a new user and am struggling to simulate a set of patterns into a garment - when I apply an arrangement point the pattern wraps around the body too tightly and then wont simulate into the correct positions (bunches up around the neck). The pattern is unusual in that it has some large pieces which are part sleeve, part front/part back. can anyone help advise how to get it to simulate? Thanks!

  Hi jaynemechan,
  I suggest you to cut the patterns into smaller pieces so you can adjust them more easily aroud the avatar, simulate and when you are satified with the result merge the pieces to put them back into their original shape.
  I think it may works.

  Suggestion: when merging the pieces, touch for latest the line of the pieces you want to keep the grainline.

  Hey Jayne. I'd say that you simulate less pieces at the same time. Don't try to get all them positioned and then all together. Better freeze pattern pieces and simulate only a few that interact with each other. Once you are happy, freeze and add other piece too.
