It would be useful, if that mask gets bigger when stretching. Instead of having a blank field of nothing. At the moment, it is very uncomfortable and time-consuming to type in names, which are maybe longer etc.

Or you add an extra popup mask to type in longer names comfortably. Or what would be insanely cool I see it right away in the 2D window on the pattern
