CLO render is not functioning

My render is not working.  I can bring in material to 2D window and hit render but it freezes at compiling geometry 100%.  The clapper to render is not highlighting.  Help please!

  Hi. Have you first clicked Stop Render? Once you selected Stop you can then Click the Final Render button
