sewing lines not working

i try using the sewing lines to superimpose my fabric over my sweater and the sewing lines are finsihed, and i simulate and the fabric just falls to the ground regardless of whatever sewing tool I use.

 

also, the fabric won't sew to the proper garment, even though my internal lines are clearly placed on the back garment pattern the fabric sews to the front garment.

  Make sure there aren't internal lines on the edges of your applique pieces.  I can't tell because in sewing mode, the edges aren't visible.  But you want the edges of your  gray fabric pieces to be black like a pattern outline, not red (internal line).  Often with tracing you end up with an extra set of lines exactly on the pattern edge.  Delete those. Then make sure the sewing joins pattern edges to the sweatshirt front instead.  (Sewing to an internal line only works if the line is truly inside the pattern outline, but there are other uses for internal lines, including creating them outside of the pattern piece.)

  There could be a few things

  -First is have you tuned on Simulation?

  Other things to check.

  -Is any pattern piece frozen/Deactivated?
