How to unlink pattern unrelated lines
Hello,
I have a problem where some of my pattern lines are linked. If I try to select one line with the edit pattern tool, several unrelated lines are selected and any changes that I make are applied to all the lines.
In the photo below I am hovering the curser over the armhole line with the edit pattern tool (as indicated by the arrow), but both the back shoulder and waist darts are highlighted in blue. If I click the armhole line all three are selected and if I try to unselect individual lines (by holding shift down to unselect the unwanted lines) all the lines are unselected. How do I unlink these lines?
I didn't have this problem before saving the file.

Thank you

Hello mariececilie Currently your pattern pieces are linked with symmetry (Note the bolder blue outlines). You can remove the symmetric editing and the pieces will become two different pattern pieces. In the 2D window Right Click on one of the Pattern Pieces and choose "Remove Linked Editing". The two pieces will then be independent of each other.

Hi
Thank you for getting back. The problem is that lines in the same pattern piece is linked, not that different pattern pieces are linked. So removing the linked editing doesn't resolve the problem. In this instance Clo treats part of the armhole, the back dart and the shoulder dart as one line, rather than three seperate lines (or I suppose it should the 5 separate lines as each dart leg should probably be a separate line).
I have the same problem on the sleeve (please see below). When I click the inner arm line with the edit pattern tool, the elbow dart is also selected. I haven't clicked the dart.
