very slow simulation on Mac / 시뮬레이션이 맥컴퓨터에서 너무 느려요.
Hi,
I have a problem with very slow stimulate on my Mac. I tried 20 for particle distance and used normal default stimulate, low-res garment etc but it's still very slow. The current version of CLO I have is 6.0.534.
I wanted to share my laptop info in case if that would help to solve the problem.
thank you,

I had a similar problem. My old laptop has Intel core i5 processor and stimulation takes far too long.
The reason why the stimulation is slow is cause of the processor. For optimal performance use intel core i9 any thing higher than i7 intel core processor. I've got the new M1 chip (mac book pro) which also works great with CLO. (also, if you do get an new laptop take one with 16gb or higher memory.
Unfortunately there is no other way of increasing the stimulation speed.
Hope this helps!

Hi arcya93 !
You are using a MacbookPro with M1 chip, rigth?
Are you able to use CLO on it without any problems?
I am planning to buy a new MacBook.
But CLO recommends intel CPU.
The MacBook with M1 is cheaper than the one with intel. This is a very important point.Did you have any problems using CLO with your MacBookPro?
I am having trouble getting a clear answer from CLO.I hope you can answer.
Thank you!

Hey Emiko!
The M1 chip is so much more faster than intel i5. But I cannot tell you if M1 if better than i9 intel as I haven't used one yet.
It is definitely a good purchase. But it also depends on what kind of things you make on clo. If you do a lot of embroidery like I do, then the rendering is SLOW.
If your work is RTW with 3 pcs in 1 look, then the rendering is not as slow. And pretty fast for 2 pc look.
Working on the 3D n 2D section is definitely fast. Only the rendering consumes time (that's if you have a lot going on in your garments) also, you need to understand the setting to know how to make it faster.
Hope this helps!
P.s:
If you decide on getting the M1 i'd recommend, MacBook pro M1 with 16gb or higher.
