how to export DXF without losing information?
Hello community, can you help me?
I´been having problems exporting files to use in gerber, when exporting to DXF the piece, when it has a lot of information,
loses the seams which become lines.
How can i export to DXF without changing the seams of the file?

Can you show an image of what you get when you import to gerber? In many instances with export of DXF and import of DXF you need to double check the layer structure of the DXF such that it conforms to the DXF-AAMA or DXF-ASTM otherwise a standard DXF for Autocad is actually not that good as it's geared to engineering DXF and not fashion cad DXF. So you perhaps also need to set your gerber to read what type of DXF format is coming in. My suggestion would be set aside some time (about half an hour) to set both your CLO3D export options and your gerber import options on the 3 types of DXF format and see which gives you the best layering and line weight compatibility. It's common that you need to save this into presets for both softwares (or at least note it down) for future seemless exporting. Ideally keep one project aside to test this on for future.
In gerber you may also set the way it imports DXF, DXF-AAMA, DXF-ASTM formats. This means when you have some control over how the layer order for the DXF shape data gets interpolated (converted) when you import - and that may be saved as a preffered preset for that import from a client or software. So check within your gerber manual also. In general DXF-AAMA contains layer data about what the closed pattern shapes contain eg: cut line, seam line, annotations, grading tables etc. So what this means is when you import the DXF-AAMA or DXF-ASTM gerber reads these as 'layer' orders and assigns them a function within gerber CAD. And this is where things can go wrong. You need to make sure that the export format from CLO3D is the right format > then you need to check in gerber that your DXF-AAMA import settings are assigning the CLO3D layers correctly as you want for gerber. This task generally takes about 30 minutes to check out and then to save settings after some testing. Do it once, and save that so you can do it consistently in the future with a single click. And when versions of software change in either CLO3D or Gerber you will need to re-check this is still working. So that's an important process check to always stay on top off for import and export process protocols.

I will try as soon as possible to test the export, and send an example. Thanks for the help!!!0 -
You can choose Gerber(DXF-AAMA) as an export option
