CLO3D for real fittings
Hi community, I was wondering what is the best way to create an accurate pattern in CLO3D and to then print it to have an accurate pattern for real life final prototype. I'm looking to make my men's avatar a standard M. Where would be the best place to find avatar measurement for size M? I think someone one day said to do something so it sits on the skin as well?

Hi m.barragan.
AVATAR SIZES: You can use any CLO Mens Version 2 avatars for this. CLO does come with standard ASTM sizing that can be assigned. Start with one of the CLO Male avatars, then if you go into the CLO Library > Avatar > Male_V2 > Size. Choose the size that you would like to use and it will change your currently selected avatar.
AVATAR SKIN OFFSET: If you click on the Avatar in 3D and then go to the property editor you can change the avatars Skin Offset from 3 to 0. The clothing will now sit directly on the Avatar. This is something you want to do at the very end since the Skin Offset protects your avatar while you are building the garment.
PATTERN PRINTING: There are many different ways you can print patterns from CLO. There is a previous thread which goes in depth into this HERE
We hope this helps! Thank you
