How can I link 2 lines so changing one length changes both?
How can I link 2 lines so changing one length changes both?
Its not immediately obvious how to link together two line segments so scaling is applied to both at the same time.
Is it possible? What kind of relationship tools are available, any links to the tutorials that explain how do that is also appreciated, thanks.

Hi Nathan.
When changing 1 patterns' outline/ inner line length, you can right-click on the line > select Change Length > input length value and set the direction.
If you want to change both lines at the same time, you can use Edit Pattern to move the related line (Line A) to adjust both Line 1's and 2's length.
If you have a certain length value: when you are moving line A, you can right-click at the same time and input the length value in the pop-up window.

Thanks, but I mean specifically:
when there are two lines sewn together, is there a way to lock the length relationship, so garments can be adjusted or re-sized and seams maintain the same length ratio?

Do you mean to lock the sewing line's relationship? If the patterns are in a Symteric relationship (hits: blue frame of that group of patterns), once you adjust the pattern length/ sewing line length, another side will give the same changing.
In addition, if you adjust the sewing length on one side and want to make sure another side has the same sewing length, you can use the "blue dot" as a reference.
