Shadows when rendering with semi-transparent fabrics
When rendering semi-transparent fabrics, the shadows are very distorted as per the image below. Is there any way of fixing this or do I have to render on another software?

Hi nicolekaii,
we have investigated already and found out the following:
- the problem occurs with the shadow catcher function of "show ground shadow" in our light settings. Easiest workaround would be to deactivate "ground shadow" and replace it with a actual 3D geometrical floor like a pattern piece. To have seamless floor you can apply this circular gradient onto the opacity channel.
- Second solution - Switch the render engine from GPU to CPU this takes longer but will work as well.
I hope this helps to solve the issue.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thank you and best regards
