Animation render question

Hello! I have been trying to render animation and got a couple of problems. First, is it even possible to record a part of the animation? I moved the sliders and set the start and end frames, but once I press render the slider goes back to the beginning and the rendering starts from zero and set to end at the very end, ignoring my preferences.

Another rather annoying thing is that the button on the garment seems to always look at the viewer. It turns rather creepily to look at you at all times, ignoring the position of the garment. Can this be fixed?

  I'm having this same issue with trying to render a section of the animation only. I move the blue slider to the position where I want to start the video but when I try to render, it always goes to frame zero. Please let me know if you found a solution to this!

  Hi Jeffrey,set the first frame number, make sure it's not at 0, then in render options set animation - play region.
