Add points to intersection

Hi There, I hope somsbodey can help:

-Edit pattern and right click- choose add point to intersection.

When i then try to edit points or try to delete one i get the message Points and or lines are to close together....

What do i do?

  Hi hawhamburg, I try to answer, but it's hard without seeing an image. If the line ends exactly or too near where you want to add the point probably the software doesn't know what to do.
  When I get that message I use the join overlapping points option and generally this help.

  Hi Daniele, thanks for getting back to me.

  

  In this picture i've got that a horizontal line where I want to add points in certain distances to vertical lines.

  So I use  -edit pattern- rightclick- add points to intersection

  Then it looks like that. The line extends to the outline.when i now try to edit or delete any of these points or lines I get the message below:

  

  Just now when i tried to recreate that moment I had the problem that I couldn't edit or delete any of the points or lines in that patternpiece.
