Cone as internal shape is not working

I've recently updated to the latest version, and after using the tool "clone as internal shape" 

once it subsequently stops working. I closed and opened the project to test that and it did the same thing.

  Hi missnancyjean

  WE just tested and are able to Use Clone as Internal Shape and then paste the cloned shape to another pattern without issue. Are you able to provide screenshots or a screen recording of the steps taken? 

  Or is there an error pop up box that appears?
