Need advice to model French Seam

I'm looking method of model this kind of seam in lounge chair. I guess it is French Seam.

To achieve this look is is all about just adding the appropriate type of Top stitching. Since ideally you do not want to add seam allowance to your patterns in 3D. In the below image I added a Topstitch the is 1/8" offset from the edge of the pattern. I also made sure to check On 3D topstitch so that CLO adds in a Normal Map so my stitching looks appropriately sunken into the fabric. This is an option at the very bottom of each Topstitches Property Editor.
