3D Pen Avatar - Copy texture/colour info from imported obj

I am importing fully uv'd and colour texture mapped .obj's into Clo3d as Avatars and creating patterns for recreating them in fabric/foam using the '3D Pen Avatar' function.

What I would really like to do is have the colour/texture info from the Avatar transfer onto my pattern when hitting flatten so each section is appropriately coloured, when reassembled I have a fully printed plushie style object.

Is that currently possible?

  Currently when using the 3D pen CLO will assign to the default fabric in the Object Browser or whatever fabric is currently selected. There is no way to CLO to read what the avatar looks like and apply that to the fabric/pattern piece. You will need to create your own textures/fabrics and apply them once the pattern pieces are made.
