How to make a ruffle stand up?

Hi all,

 

I made a ruffle on the waist-seam but the ruffle tends to fall instead of the standing up?

Is there any way to make it stand up to look much appealing and lively? Thanks!

  Hi hiltontcy37. It looks like you are using the default fabric. Have you tried to apply one of the fabrics from the CLO fabric library? Picking a fabric with more structure  should help to make the ruffle more lively.

  I have applied a poplin fabric which is supposed to be stiffer but the ruffle still falls. :C

  Check the ruffles sewing line angle, then adjust it to a new angle with increased strength, then you can get it to stay at your choice of angle.
