Rendering a video, some of the images turn out blurry

Hi There. Can you please add a few visual stills form the animation or a link to the animation so we can see what is happening?

Hi, I attached one screenshot of a clear image and one of a noisy one. Around half of the images of the animation come out that noisy, I tried reducing the resolution, removing the background object, rendering png and rendering jpg and removing displacement maps. Still many images come out noisy

Can you also share your render settings?

You likely need to increase maximum render time and increase noise.

    These are my render settings

What values do you recommend for the maximum render time and the noise?

The animation has 530 frames, so a not too high maximum time would be great. Thanks

-For noise I would likely go back to the default 0.050 to test. You should never go to 0.001. The lowest we ever recommend is 0.010 (but that is only for images and not video). You can then maybe decrease to 0.030, but we would recommend you do a test first

-Your time is also very low. You are likely not giving enough time for the images to complete with just 5 minutes which is why they are so blurry(especially with the low noise value). Again going back to the default of 20 minutes. This does not mean each frame will take 20 minutes, but it means you are giving CLO up to 20. The time CLO will need will depend on the complexity of the garment. Simple styles will likely take 4 to 6 minutes per frame

-Lastly I see you are on CPU. Not sure if you are on a Mac or a PC. But if you are on a PC you should switch to GPU. You really only need to switch to CPU when using Fur or things with lots of displacement maps

If you are newer to animation I may recommend taking a look at our youtube channel and watching the animation tutorial HERE which has a lot of tips. Since things often vary from a still single image to an animation. Another tip to add it often for long animation is to do the mover night as they will take several hours to complete
