Move OBJ with Avatar animation

Hi CLO community,

 

I am attempting a simple walking with phone animation - but can seem to get the phone model to move with the avatar in animation.

I have tried loading as trim, avatar and garment file -  and pinning to a cloth square that's been pinned to the avatar's hand.

In each trail the phone OBJ remains static in animation.

Any suggestions?

  Hi Sharna,

  I also want to make an animation with sunglasses and earrings but they don't follow.  Did you figure out how to solve this?

  Hi clham

  When bringing in on OBJ as long as it is a Trim (not an avatar) it should move with your avatar.

  For the earrings you will need to attach an invisible piece of fabric to the Avatar and then "glue" the earrings to the invisible piece.

  you will also need a similar process for the singlasses.

  Hi! Thanks for a quick reply :)

  I have added (tacked) a small invisible piece to the ear and glued the earring (trim) as you suggested. Now when I simulate the earring stays in place but when I go into animation mode, the earring doesn't follow when the avatar walks.  Any other suggestions greatly appreciated :)

  Hi clham. As long as your brought the earring in as a Trim and not an avatar it should follow your avatar.
