Color Mapping in Render Properties

Hello, 

In "Render Properties", and then under "Color Mapping", an option to toggle on or off  "Linear Workflow".
Does anyone know what this is for? I couldn't find the explanation in the manual.

  Hana, linear worfklow relates to the gamma correction that is applied to the images so we can see them correctly in our monitors, as they don't behave like in real life, where light is linear. Having said that I don't touch this setting in CLO which was added recently and I'm not completely sure if it works just like it does in VRay. Maybe someone else can explain that part to us.
