Cant pan

Hey, guys I'm new to this software and i needed help panning. i looked it up online and i tried what they said and it still doesn't work. when i try to pan its just like zooming in and out. so i went to settings user settings and went to view controls and on the pan section, i have it as alt and middle mouse button and regardless it doesn't work. i tried to reset it and nothing happened.

  O yea, that was driving me crazing on my mac.  I went to setting>User setting>Pan> Left Mouse+Alt

  If it says that already assigned change zoom to middle button.  You should still be able to zoom like before but now you can also pan using alt+anymouse click.

  I have big problems after updating the Clo software, I work on mac, I have tried all kinds of settings to be able to pan in the 2d window, I have reset, change mouse, tried my wacom pen etc,- but still nothing helps.

  For the wacom I can select middle mouse button, but this does not exist ??

  In general I think the Clo must fix the mac issues - as a lot of users comes from Adobe and mac, the graphic on mac is really good, and I do not understand why we get a little left behind..

  Hi kastorp. For Mac we do still suggest you use a 3 button mouse or a magic mouse. We do not recommend using a tablet.

  To pan in 2D make sure first that your mouse settings are set to whichever mouse you are currently using. 

  -For a Magic Mouse to pan you will need to hold your Left Click Button + Option Button at the same time

  -3 Button mouse. Hold middle mouse button

  I changed my mouse, and the default settings and now it works.thanks a ton
