Auto Grading new Pattern Pieces with old points

Hello,

I made a pattern (base) and made a grading. After making the garding I added a facing by tracing an existing shape from my pattern. I traced exactly the points I had graded before. And When I use the function of ''trace as patter'' I want to to trace/ copy the grading as well. Does this function already exist?

  Hello kkuhle. I myself don't use CLO3D for pattern making much. When I tried to do what you explained (which is a basic procedure in any pattern CAD software) I couldn't either. I suggest you post this as a product feedback in that forum

  Meanwhile, I tried a different approach in CLO. You could duplicate your base and then selecting the internal line for the facing Cut those two pieces and delete the main body. The facing should remain with the grading included.

  I hope this can work for you. I'm in no way affiliated to PAD System, but I think it's a good value offering for a complete CAD pattern making software. Try it out.
