Export clo Pattern shapes to Photoshop for decal and color edits
I know graphic 3d pattern images can be imported to change pattern color/print details in clo. Is there a way to export the exact pattern shapes into Photoshop so they can be edited and colored? Thank you for your help!!!!

Photoshop has long been 'understand' 3d. You can export clothes as a obj and color it in Photoshop. It is much better to use Substance painter of course for these purposes.
Adoby bought Painter from allegorhythmic. Now this is the same adobe.

Hi Shellzer0. I agree with Vad on this. Make sure to export the textures with the OBJ file as a ZIP file and you will have access to modify them in Photoshop. If you need more help let us know.

The Print Layout 2D Snapshot will show you a perfect view on painting the 2D flats in the traditional 2D UV style.
You can do a lot of detailed coloring and texturing within Clo but if you need more advanced coloring and texturing for use in other programs a dedicated program as Vad mentioned is the best bet.
Adobe Substance Painter (as of Jan 2019) or Foundry Mari are each dedicated to painting UV maps in 3D space. Substance Painter is highly capable, cheaper ($239) and is easier to learn. The price may become moot as Adobe rolls it into their creative cloud tool set (eventually). Mari ($599 or free for reduced non-commercial license) is a bit more complicated but it scales and excels for creating very high resolution textures on large assets with lots of udims. Which basically means unless you are creating for film it might be overkill.
Try them both and decide which you like better for your needs. Both individual commercial versions have a fully featured 30-day trial available.

Sorry for the late reply...Awesome! Thanks everyone for the great answers, I suspected as much when I seen the obj and fbx exports, I have the substance suite from working with zbrush and was curious if there was a shortcut to photoshop patterns as well, similar to how Quixel functions for those who have used it. I will try these methods and work on improving my ability. Thank you all again for the help and replies, take care...:)
