CLO vs Marvelous

Does anyone know the differences between CLO and Marvelous?
when is it better to use clo , and when is it better to use Marvelous?

Although the core technology behind the solutions are the same, Marvelous Designer is primarily used in the CG, animation, and gaming industries.
CLO is a more robust solution geared towards the fashion and apparel industries with functions that can be applied to various stages of the garment design development process. The primary difference between the two solutions is that the import/export of DXF-AAMA or DXF-ASTM files in CLO, allows for production-ready patterns to be sent to your manufacturer.Basically, if you need to use your patterns to produce an actual garment somewhere down the line, you should use CLO rather than MD. If you're going to be editing the garment in a program like Zbrush and then using it purely for digital presentation purposes, you should use MD.
