How to Create a Smocked Waistband!

Hi Everyone, 

I created a smocked top and skirt with smocked waistband. See Tutorial Video at this LINK!

  Really?

  Do you suggest to sew everything manually by 1 sew? Try a keyboard shortcut. ctrl+Shift+V

  Please read help about  Layer Clone (Over)

  Thank you for your comment. I am aware of the Layer Clone feature but wanted to demonstrate a way to do this for people that are not as familiar with CLO. There are multiple ways to accomplish the same thing :)

  Hello,

  Just so I understand. You double the smock part and make the top part of the waistband longer?

  Why do you do that? (still in learning proces :) )

  Hi @leanaaspeslagh93, 

  The top pattern piece is wider than the bottom to allow the fabric to gather and create smocking. If we kept the piece the same size as the avatar's waist there would be no extra fabric for ease.
