Embossing

I was playing around in CLO today and I discovered how to make embossing! :)

It looks great! I followed this youtube instruction. But I can not figure out how the jellyfish motif pattern copied onto the body/garment pattern.
It created a clone motif when I did cntl+c & cntl+v. I also used AI file and opened it as the way in the video.
Pls, advise me on the way of motif transfer onto the other pattern. Thank you.
