    Hi Raj,

You will need to export the video as individual .png files and then assemble them together using a video editing program.

Hi raj1985. Falmouth is correct. You can also add a solid background that will act like a "green screen" and then quickly edit out the background of the video in another video software like Camtasia

you are absolutely right but it is an alternate way to export video with transparent background instead of directly from CLO software without any editing with the external video editor software.

A lot of  thanks to you all for suggestion, I think there should be a features that can execute/export video with transparent background so that it can reduce the time consumption.

    Thanks

    Hi Raj,

You can use Quicktime on a Mac to assemble a series of still frames together. It takes literally seconds. I’m happy to do a quick video to show you. I’m sure there are PC programs that do the same thing.

I would always recommend saving any animation out as individual frames. It’s more reliable (you can restart renders if you have a powercut or crash), easier to edit anything if you have any glitches (you can open frames in any image editing software like Photoshop etc) and you have much more control over the quality and compression.

If you want a video file format with a plain white or black (or any colour) background you can do that within Clo but if you need proper transparent video, you are going to be 99.99% of the time having to add a background to the image at some point so you will have to take it into some sort of editing/compositing program. I’m sure there are exceptions but I’ve not come across them :)
