CLO3D Export Issues
I am pretty disappointed with this software and it exporting problems. KEY POINT here is CLO3D cannot export garment and character(clo3d character) animation with it texures data.
I spend an entire day trying to figure out my workflow with CLO3D and other software because every exporting issue roots back to CLO3D. I am having an issue exporting a project with it textures and animation from CLO3D and I've tried every option there is with no success. now my solution is to export the clothing and avatar animation in Alembic, export the avatar in fbx. and then setup texture for the animated garment and manually unwrap the alembic animated avatar and setup the textures using the fbx avatar. smh.
- FBX animation of the garment is completely non functional even though i checked the option to export the animations.
- FBX animation of the Avatar is partially working as the program only exports the first 30 frames.
- GLTF exports only the garments animations, wish i can export the avatar animation as well would have made life very easy. - Alembic exports the animations perfectly but with no vertex or texture data at all. it really sickening to be honest. having paying for the software we deserve to at least have these features working accurately before introducing any new major feature on the app at all. Pls and Pls CLO3D. Life will be so much easier if these issues are fixed. at least one or more.

It's a royal pain! And I think it's the biggest problem for me with Clo and the reason why you see so many animations with metal/plastic/transparent avatars. The textures on the Clo avatars are not bad at all if you play with materials a little bit, it would be nice to be able to use them for anything other than stills. The workaround is a tedious process and it would be amazing to have a one-click animation export using properly textured Clo avatars.
I love using Clo but this is definitely the biggest issue for me personally.
