CLO3D DXF File to Adobe Illustrator ERROR | HELP!

I have exported a DXF file from CLO3D. However, when I attempt to open the file in Adobe Illustrator I get the following error.

"The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [2067]"

Do you all have an idea of how to fix this?

I have scoured the community posts with no luck in solving the issue.

I look forward to hearing your advice.

  Hi! This is a known Adobe issue with certain versions of Illustrator. You can see HERE and HERE. Sometimes reverting to an older version of Illustrator can work. Or if you need to open in Illustrator we recommend Exporting as a PDF and then open in Illustrator.

  Hello,

   

  The problem comes from illustrator itself ! 

  You need to use the AI 2020 25.0 VERSION to be able to open the DXF ! 

  You can have it dirrectly from the customer service you explain the situation and ask them a link to this version and they send it to you ! They did for me !

  I had the same problem and have 2 solutions:

  - convert the DFX to AI using a converter (eg convertio). You should be able to open it in the latest version

  - re-install Illustrator version 25. I contacted the Creative Cloud helpdesk and they did it for me. You can have the new and old version installed on the same PC/laptop. Just uncheck the ' remove older version' check when updating to an newer version.
