hi, i would like to find out if i can import a fabric to Clo3d in u3ma. file format? or what type of file format can be imported to Clo3d?
our team has a machine (Fab analyzer) here, we have the fabric data, i wonder if we can edit the properties of the data in Clo3d based on below information:
mass: 152g/m2
friction: 0.2
thickness: 0.43mm
bend: W: 23.1DYN*CM L:38.61DYN*CM
stretch: W 57.64N/M L: 155.69N/M
stretch linearity: W:5% L:20.71%
shear: 54.64 N/M
shear linearity: 24.49%
thanks.

That is not the same test hardware as the CLO3D testing hardware so you would either need to run the same tests as CLO3D requires on their hardware or adapt your in-house testing hardware to include their specific tests and results. So although you have a browzwear compatible testing hardware it's not gong to give you the data you need to input into the CLO3D fabric configurator. HOWEVER you can adapt your testing and hardware to maybe cover the CLO3D testing process, that would be something you need to discuss with CLO3D, but it should be possible without purchasing more equipment as these are really simple tests. That is how I overcame the barrier, adapted my existing equipment to include their test process.
