Displacement maps and Graphic not matching

Hi All, I have resolved this. The tutorial shows saving the PS file by exporting. I couldn't resolve this. Instead, I saved the PNG and JPEG through saving a copy by 'ctrl, Alt, & s. More format options became available and doing this way keeps the Metadata as per the pre-sets in the preferences.

    Hey Guys,

I think this is a size issue coming from Photoshop. Any ideas on how guarantee they are the same size and PPI?

    Thanks, Chris

Make sure the size in pixels or cm are the same for the image and the displacement map using the same ppi for both images in Photoshop before exporting. There is no scaling of the displacement map in CLO.

    Hi Pablo,

Thanks for the reply.  Both images are the same canvas size. The one thing that is different once opened in CLO is the PPI. I don't know how to get these to match on exporting from PS.  My PS document export settings are set at 300ppi, but the JPG displacement always ends up being 72ppi in CLO. In PS, there appears to be no option to set the PPI on exporting (you can see in the screen grab above that the quality is set at excellent - that's the only thing that related to resolution)

I have done this successfully in the past, following the CLO tutorial How to Use Displacement Maps: Part 1 - YouTube  and repeatedly done it with this graphic, so it must be a setting or a small oversight somewhere.

    Any help appreciated
