Pattern or Seam issue? Legs collapsing at CB
Hi, does anybody have an idea how to fix this:
The back leg pieces of my short collapse weirdly at the butt (center back). I use the same pattern for a slightly different style (same avatar size) and it's absolutely fine. The darts are also weirdly pushing outwards..
I checked seams and tension and stress maps.. nothing.
I've now put in a different sewing angle to make the seams lie flatter but that didn't help either..
Could it be the physical presets of the fabric I created (swimwear)?
Help! :)
Thanks!!

Hi ycik,
thank you for reaching out.
Regarding your pattern, feel free to check below points to see if they help to improve the backside of the pants:
1. Changing the fold angle of the seam is generally a good idea - try to set the number a bit higher and only for the part of the crotch area as on image below:

2. to simulate the darts more flat - set the sewing line type angle to 180, but the fold strength to 100. This way, the simulation will try to keep this sewing line on 180 degrees with the highest strength applied
3. You can apply seam tape to the crotch area to see, if it helps to keep it more stable here
4. Simulate the pattern with a lower particle distance for fitting accuracy
I hope these tips help. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Best regards

Hi CLO Designers thank you for sharing these tips! That definitely helped, especially for the darts.
The CB crotch still looked floppy even after applying the other angle. But I reckon this might have to do with the physical properties of my fabric (e.g. bending is quite low value)..0
