Render Leaves Marks

Any stitching that sits in a fold crease line will deform randomly based on the change in surface normal, therefor offset the stitch line in the property editor for those areas by the width of the stitch thread and that will go away. Check when you are viewing your 3D model you have the render thickness view and not the single thin view. If it is a appearing like this in vray, check you have the fabric shader set to the right type for that fabric eg: matte fabric and not some other base material shader that jeans fabric should not be set too. Also check you have not dialed  up your normal map value too high or accidentally de-saturated the diffuse map - in the fabrics shader in the property editor.

Thank you for your reply! The topstitching issue is solved! However, the texture issue was still the same. On render thickness view it seems fine, the grey spots only appear in vray. I reset the fabric to clo's default raw denim but it doesn't seem to help... I was wondering if it is the puckering but deleting the texture didn't help either. It is also weird to me that the spots only appear in some areas on the same piece of pattern. Do you have any other clue about what I might did wrong? Thanks again.

Not sure but check this off your list > Check you don't have your pattern pieces flipped inside out so their normal surfaces are incorrect. If so you can see that in the thin texture view (left window) where the darker pattern face should be inside the garment. You can click on a pattern piece if the normal's are incorrect and flip them without having to resew the garment.
