  There is the fleece fabric which can have the depth map applied. However as with all hair fibre of any length you may need to decide if you use a texture map set verse actaully creating a custom fur/hair strand based fabric. Sherpa, is usually a fake fleece and can vary in height, where-as the shearling is actual natural hair/fur fibre and may be best rendered in CLO3D (vray) using a custom fur.

   

  Take a look at the CLO3D fleece fabric and see how that renders, then perhaps try a custom fur with hair strand and see how it compares.
