Hi Robyn. I'm sorry to hear it has been a nightmare so far. I assure you, you'll get the hang of it. CLO, as well as Marvelous Designer, are professional tools used in major design studios around the world. There is hope for you. =)

For very specific questions, you can post them here and the community is always willing to help you. You will have to toil, though. I mean, you have to try, check videos, ask, try again, etc.

If you are up for a one-to-one training, I can be of assistance. Drop me a line to pablo.quintana@forastyle.com

Change your mindset, that is your best step forward. Start with a relaxed read of the CLO3D manual - jump through it , thumb and scan read it quickly and get an idea of the scope for what you need to cover might be your one true salvation. I highly recommend that approach as a start point. Launching into videos too early can simply keep your overview clouded, when you need to perhaps get a feel for the tools and how they relate to each other - without that comprehension learning in isolation is not going to deliver the depth your mind needs to string features together.  Don't try stuff until you have spent a day watching short videos, don't take notes, just let your head absorb it - then go back to finding a tutorial that interests you. A scout - scans the landscape for patterns, before they send for the specialist troops to analyse before strategy - without that raw data feeding into everyone's headspace to make sense of what is on the horizon - it would end up a nonsensical surprise.

Educational video on the future of learning - the 21st century has yet to materialize the B.I.G.R.A.T.

    B.I.G.R.A.T. > 21st century style web app to accelerate manual reading ! ( - the irony )

Hi Robynpdesign ,  don't be so worried. In the beginning, everything seems hard. If you want, I can share the screen with you on Skype. I'm Italy based.
If you agree contact me on Instagram: justme3d, I will be happy to give you a hand.
Since then I hope you could feel more confident.
Btw, both ottoline and Pablo, two of the best guys in this community, gave you good advice.
    Best.
    Daniele.
