"walk pattern" isn't working properly

I think this is the most important function for a patern maker

while I try using the function "walk pattern" the pattern doesn't walk properly, I don't kwon if I'm making some mistake or not.
I click on the "walk pattern" funcion from the 2D menu and after I select the first piece and putting it on the second piece they dont walk properly, the point selected slides on the line without walking the line to check the mesurement.

  Please excuse the inconvenience. Developers are aware of this bug and it is fixed for an upcoming patch.
